Photo of the Day: Survivor Sunset

An image of my son Mat watching the sunset on our last night of camping at Jordan Lake in North Carolina. It reminded me of the tv show Survivor. We spent our spring break week on the lake and in nearby Durham with friends I haven’t seen in 28 years.

Right now, behind me, in one of the Turkish television channels, there is survivor program in Dominican Republic… You are right, this amazing photograph reminds me this too… Great Shot. Thank you, with my love, nia

If the people in Durham knew that you misspelled the name of their city you might have been voted off the island. Quick, change it before they notice! I’ll cover you.

This is a great shot! i agree with the survivor reference, but honestly, before I clicked on the photo and read your description I thought it was a tribal person in another country.. šŸ™‚

It really does look like it’s taken in another country. The view finder captures such a small part of the image and sometimes that image looks very different than the scene in its entirety.
